DELASTYLE: Tilda Supports Young Talent.

Looking for a shocking cover or editorial (Beth Ditto?, anyone), found myself looking at the cover of Another magazine, a bi-annual British, high fashion/culture mag, that has been around for a while now, and surprisingly, Tilda Swinton, the academy award winner super actress is feature in the cover of the Spring/Summer 2009 issue. I think Tilda is the best combination of a super famous actress with a high fashion model look and I can definitely see her in multiple ads for Lanvin or Givenchy. Her look is very unique an eye-catching, you don't usually see such striking face walking around DC or VA.

Well, the issue features Swinton in 8 different high fashion looks from different promising talents in the fashion industry such as Peter Pilotto, Peachoo + Krejberg, Mark Fast and Craig Lawrence. The pixs were shot by Craig McDean and styled by Panos Yiapanis.

In my opinion, the editorial shots are hot!. The dresses are seriously haute couture pieces, that must have taken days to perfect, the colors look very rich and the fabrication is truly amazing. I'm kind of digging the gray hair, and the minimalist make up. I like the fact that Tilda actually supports young designers who may not get a lot of press, because celebs are not wearing their creations, for her being in such a prestigious publication wearing this "lesser-known" designers pieces is a great step for the magazine as well for the designers.
